Pennineview Summer

Bred to Event to the Top Levels

This very stunning mare is bred to event. She is a home bred and is one of the first off spring to our 4* event stallion PennineView Silver Concorde.

She is very stunning, with her scopey jump and lovely paces she likes to please and is the queen of being placed at BE. She has competed up to 105 before having a foal whilst we moved from Yorkshire to Wiltshire and is back to effortlessly competing at BE100. Summer was double clear at Gatcombe 18 June 23 BE100 and has had numerous top ten placings in her eventing. Her dressage is improving all the time and has plenty of room for improvement focused training. She has lovely paces and we where told her walk is always an 8 by our trainer.

This horse loves to go out in a lorry of trailer and loves to jump. She is bold, careful and easy to jump, giving the rider great confidence. Her dressage paces are correct, rhythmic and elegant. She is strengthening up and producing improving performances all the time.

This horse has great potential.

Summer, by our 4* event stallion and out of a mare by Classic, is a horse for the future and could easily and effortlessly take someone up the levels to Intermediate and above or could be a PC/RC Grassroots specialist with solid dressage and double clears. We would love to see this mare in an focused eventing home and competing at what she loves.

This mare is good to hack with heavy traffic, lorries and agricultural traffic etc, good out on grass cantering with others and is always snaffled mouth. All my friends hack her so could be a great parent/sibling share!
Good to shoe and clip.

She sounds prefect and is in most ways but priced very low as she can weave a little. Since coming back from being a broodmare she can occasionally be strong to lead and a bit grumpy although not when she is out competing. She can also give great cuddles and kisses. She needs a knowledgeable home than can work through these small blemishes as she was never grumpy or strong before the foal.

This is a sad sale as my daughter’s travelling on Gap year and not riding anymore. She is fit and going well and ready to link up with a new rider to be prepped for the 2024 season.

Can be seen at Clarendon Stud, Teffont, Wiltshire, SP3 5QU. All sensible offers considered as good eventing home to take her to the top is essential.
